From welcoming new acquaintances to reconnecting with familiar faces, our stand 12-500 buzzed with activity and enthusiasm throughout the event.
Highlights from the Fair
The 2024 Fair drew over 8,000 visitors, all eager to explore the latest innovations in the poultry and pig farming industries. It was an incredible opportunity for us to demonstrate our innovative products and solutions, showcasing the advancements that are shaping the future of farming. Engaging with the Community
Our team had the pleasure of engaging with a diverse range of attendees, from seasoned professionals to curious newcomers. We demonstrated our latest systems, including the Meggsius Select and its revolutionary egg inspection and sorting capabilities. The live demonstrations highlighted how our technology can significantly reduce daily workloads while ensuring impeccable quality control.
Interactive Experiences
One of the main attractions at our stand was the interactive zone, where visitors could see our equipment in action and get hands-on experience with our systems. Here’s a closer look at what we had on display:
Meggsius Count: This system uses a camera to count the eggs on each egg belt coming out of the house. It allows for programming a desired speed into the Meggsius Control, utilising data from the Meggsius Count cameras.
Meggsius Control: Programs egg collection using data from the egg belt position at a known speed. It ensures that every collection is consistent.
Meggsius Select: A camera-based vision grading system designed to grade eggs on shell characteristics, taking eight pictures of an egg and comparing them based on parameters set by the operator.
Meggsius Detect: Fits between the main cross conveyor and the infeed to the packer. It detects broken eggs and stops the packer preventing contamination, displaying a red light.
ECO Unit: A multi-functional air-to-air heat exchanger with additional heating and cooling options, maintaining even house temperatures year-round and reducing ammonia, dust, and CO2 emissions.
Clima Unit: An efficient, cost-effective heat exchanger that recovers up to 80% of the heat contained in stale exhaust air.
ECO Zero: Achieves superior thermal efficiency of 80% thanks to the counterflow air stream and the 8-meter-long channels.
ECO Entry: Compact, efficient, and affordable climate control, perfect for poultry houses with fewer than 15,000 birds.
Housing Systems: From traditional flat-deck nests to high-spec multi-tier housing systems, our range offers high-welfare solutions across all industry sectors.
HATO Lighting: Showcasing multiple light colour combinations and dynamic daylight simulation, the CORAX DDS and CORAX XL lights enhance performance and simulate natural daylight.

Mark your calendars: the 2026 Pig and Poultry Fair will be held on Wednesday 13th and Thursday 14th May in halls 10, 11, and 12 at the NEC, Birmingham.
