Our entire Meggsius range has also triumphed at the latest edition of SPACE Rennes in France, winning not just one, but three prizes!

Designed with advanced technology, the range includes products that automate and optimise various aspects of egg production, from collection to processing. This not only reduces labour costs but also ensures a more consistent and high-quality output. Additionally, the Meggsius range prioritises the well-being of the birds, incorporating features that create a more natural and stress-free environment. The Meggsius Detect
The Meggsius Detect has earned its own award for its innovative approach to maintaining egg quality and hygiene. This advanced leaking egg detector identifies leaking eggs as they roll off an egg belt onto the infeed conveyor of a Prinzen egg handling system. Upon detection, the system automatically halts both the egg belt and the packer’s infeed belt, allowing for the manual removal of the leaking egg. This prevents further contamination of the belt and surrounding eggs. After the leaky egg is removed and the area cleaned, the system can be easily restarted with the push of a signal button. Meggsius Detect simplifies egg inspection, reduces cleaning work, and enhances overall hygiene, resulting in better egg quality.
The Significance of Innov’Space
The Innov’Space is a benchmark for innovation in livestock farming and has a rigorous selection process.
A jury of around fifty experts, including farmers, representatives from Chambers of Agriculture, Technical Institutes, INRAE, INPI, ANSES, GDS, veterinarians, and specialised press journalists, independently evaluates the new products proposed by exhibitors. This rigorous and confidential process ensures that only the most innovative products, equipment, or services are selected.
